Lynn Weddle is a photographic artist based in Brighton, UK. Her practice is concerned with exploring ways of presenting ourselves through photographic portraiture.
The practice is intrigued by the roles that people play and challenges the ways in which we see each other. Through creating spaces to collaborate and investigate Lynn Weddle’s practice offers her sitter the opportunity to self realise. She guides her subjects through an experience, which offers sensitive insights, a freedom from the burden of identity and asks to be received with a kind of openness.
